Nancy Lachel has been with the GH Farmer's Market since 1975, 1 year after its inception. For many years she baked out of her kitchen at home and in 1996 she decided she was packing too much back and forth and asked permission to finish the small kitchen in the market with the proper commercial equipment. Once she began baking on site the aromas boosted sales to the point she couldn't keep up so s

he began hiring assistants. The crew at Nancy's bake Tuesday thru Saturday (with an exception of the holiday season) at the Grays Harbor Farmers market, open 7 days a week. Nancy's Bakery offers a wide range of items including: Pies, cookies, muffins, jams, biscotti, cinnamon rolls and more! Here in Hoquiam at Nancy's Bakery when I came in this morning I found that cheyenne, the biscotti Fairy, had swooped in and made Seven varieties of biscotti. Almond, almond anise, cardamom, cranberry orange, hawaiian, German chocolate, and triple chocolate. They go perfect with Claire's tea assortment that's right next to the biscotti.

Good morning from Nancy's Bakery in Hoquiam. I thought I would let my locals know and those of you that are not local as well that last night cheyenne, my biscotti fairy, swooped in and produced several different varieties of biscotti to add to what Ian made recently. It's fun to have some of her fancier ones. I do believe she told me she would be swooping in occasionally to make biscotti and refill her candles that she makes.

Happy summer to everybody out there. I would like everyone to know that even though Deidra has moved her Deli to Aberdeen that Nancy's Bakery is not moving. I'm very happy and content to be where I'm at. We have been asked whether we're moving or not and I've seen Facebook comments that assume we are so I just wanted to set the record straight. We will miss Deidra and wish her the best of luck.

Good spring day to everybody in Grays Harbor. Once again I am hiring, but for a very specific position. I need an additional person that can roll pie dough. Days are Tuesday through saturday, generally around 6:00 a.m. my plan is to interview and then have a pie rolling tryout. You can message me for an interview time. Thank you Nancy
