Epling Farm Epling Farm is a small-scale sustainable farm. We produce vegetables and fruit, raise heritage breed sheep and chickens, and keep bees.

Epling Farm delivers the highest quality produce and other farm products to customers in the Asheville - Hendersonville area. We grow everything without the use of chemicals, and instead rely on practices of crop rotation, permaculture, and organic methods to bring you nutrient-dense, flavorful, and altogether beautiful food. Yesterday was our flock’s last day in Horse Shoe, and the last time we threw scratch and scooped up a hen for a hug. A nice couple, Eddie & Timber, out of Waynesville bought the coop, chickens, and whole shebang! They brought a rollback and loaded everything up this morning. Glad to know that the chickens will be well taken care of, since we can’t take them where we’re going. Bye Chickens! 👋🐓

Farm dogs with their new loving farm family! 💗 Friends of ours up Turkey Creek were looking for livestock dogs to help protect their chickens, ducks, and pigs. The kids love brushing these dogs and have so much love to give! We are grateful and relieved to find the perfect fit for the maremmas’ needs as well as the family’s. Happy and Stella started splashing and watching the ducks immediately, and they ran from corner to corner of the pasture... good dogs :)

We’ve had a great run raising these awesome farm dogs, but today we had to say goodbye. As a part of selling the farm and moving, we must learn to let go of some parts of our daily lives and some things we love. Happy and Stella were definitely nervous getting into the car today - they do not ride in cars! - but they have recently landed at their new farm home and have made themselves very comfortable already! ❤️
