It involves providing the best possible living conditions for cows to ensure their health, welfare, and productivity. This includes proper bedding and housing to allow rest and prevent injury, maintaining the right temperature and ventilation to reduce heat stress, and ensuring cows have access to adequate feeding and clean water. Sufficient space and movement are also essential so cows can behave naturally and stay healthy. When cows are comfortable, they are less stressed, produce more milk, and live longer, healthier lives.
