Unfortunately, today we had to say our goodbyes to two of our original herd members, Peaches and X-man. Peaches had aged well but in recent weeks took a sharp downturn and, in the end, simply stopped walking and eating. X-man, our late-bloomer early on, had developed some physical issues and had a lame hip and leg and struggled with mobility. Both were blue ribbon fleece providers on their first time being judged.
