Park Chats is back for a new year of programming. This is a monthly speaker series collaboration between Hot Springs rangers and the Garland County Library. And we are starting out 2026 talking about the science and stories of the different spring waters.
Did you know Hot Springs National Park maintains multiple drinking fountains to provide the mineral spring water free for the public?
Have you ever wondered about the science of the springs or the differences between the hot and cold springs?
Hot Springs rangers love hearing about how people have been collecting the waters bottle after bottle, year after year. Everyone has a favorite spring water. Some people collect water every week. Some people drive hundreds of miles to fill up their jugs.
Now it's our turn to share some stories.
Join us for the January Park Chats on Wednesday, January 28, 12p-1p, at the Garland County Library. To watch online, follow the program page at https://calendar.gclibrary.com/event?id=288697
