It’s time for Face of the Feedyard and this month we want to recognize Terri Lemmon…okay, since I am writing this personally, about myself, I just can’t do third person throughout this post. It’s just too weird.

I started with Fall River Feedyard in August, 2025, bringing decades of hands-on experience in ranching, a strong marketing background, and a love for technology. That mix has served me well as I’ve navigated my roles as digital content coordinator and drone pilot.

Each day, I get the opportunity to fly the most amazing drone, a DJI Matrice 4D, affectionately named “Moo Force Two.” Together, we keep a bird’s-eye view on bunks, tanks, cattle health, and infrastructure. Occasionally, we stalk other team members while also looking for those great moments to share. Most of the stunning photos on our social media pages are thanks to Moo Two’s camera capabilities. Our purpose is to support other teams so they can keep moving forward efficiently. Without a doubt, learning to fly Moo Two has been one of the best parts of working at Fall River Feedyard—and a completely new skill I learned on the job.

Agriculture is the backbone of our country, yet so many people have never had the chance to step on a feedyard. That’s why one of my goals through social media is to open our gates to the world, sharing the reality of how cattle are cared for and the hard work, dedication, and many hands it takes to bring that delicious steak to your table. Personally, I prefer mine off the grill, pink in the middle and, dare I say it, with a little ketchup.

I was privileged to grow up on a ranch in north-central Nebraska, where my parents showed me the meaning of hard work, integrity, and honesty. My husband and I have two grown children and one grandson. Our son and daughter are both married and, along with their families, carry on a love of agriculture and rural living.

While the way we work in agriculture continues to evolve with advances in science and technology, the values behind it haven’t. I’m proud to play a small part in sharing that story.

Cattle care means keeping an eye on the whole herd—and giving extra attention to those who need it. 🐂

Motivation Monday 💪

The game may be different, but the qualities of a great teammate stay the same.

Show up. Learn. Encourage. Share the credit. Step in where you're needed.

Whether it's on the field or at the workplace, great teams win together. 🐂

Agriculture has always been built on people working together.

Different jobs. Different responsibilities. Different strengths. But each one has a part in getting the work done.

The same is true beyond the feedyard. We may not always see things the same way, but we can choose patience, understanding, and peace.

25 years later, we remember.

We remember the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the families forever changed on September 11, 2001.

May we never forget the courage, sacrifice, and unity shown in the days that followed. God Bless America.
