The farmstand is stocked EARLY today, and y’all… the fresh sourdough cinnamon rolls are ready! 🤎🥐

You’ll find them chilled in the refrigerator just to the right of the stand — perfect to grab on your way to work, school, or wherever your morning takes you.

We also have:

🍓 Homemade strawberry jam
✨ Our beef tallow skincare

We’ve been getting so much wonderful feedback on the beef tallow skincare, and if you haven’t tried it yet, this might be the perfect time!

🌾🐓 A little farmstand update from Wilson Farm Highlands 🥚💛

Y’all, this Arkansas heat has been something else! ☀️🥵 Our sweet hens are doing their best, but they are just not tolerating these temperatures very well, and egg production has really slowed down.

Because of that — and because it is entirely too hot to have the ovens running for bread and sourdough goodies — the farmstand will be CLOSED tomorrow, Friday, September 4.

We will also be closed Monday for the holiday, so we’re going to give the girls a little break, cross our fingers, and say a little prayer for some rain and cooler weather! 🌧️🙏🏼

Our plan is to be back and have the stand stocked again on Wednesday with fresh eggs and hopefully some of your favorite farmstand goodies. 🥚🍞🪺

Thank you for always supporting our little farm and loving our girls as much as we do. 💕 We sure appreciate each and every one of you!

I’m so honored to be included in this year’s ACLC. We have been incredibly blessed by this organization and the wonderful people who are a part of it. I’m grateful for the opportunity.

Say hello to this week's Farmer Friday spotlight, Amy Graves!

Amy is a Highland cow/calf producer from Garland County. After retiring as a registered nurse, she became a full-time farmer, pursuing a passion that has deep family roots.

Agriculture has always been part of Amy's story. Her grandfather and father both raised small herds of cattle, but growing up, she wasn't involved because she was a girl. Years later, after inheriting family land, Amy and her husband decided to start their own operation. When their daughters developed an interest in Highland cattle, it became the beginning of their family's Highland cow/calf operation.

"I joined ACLC because I was never involved in my youth, never part of 4H or FFA. I feel I have mountains of learning to catch up on. I’ve taken many opportunities to attend cattle care and management classes. I felt this would be the next opportunity to learn more, meet people, and how to become more involved in leadership," Graves said.

Amy's favorite part of the Arkansas Cattlemen's Association is the support and connections she's found with others who share the same farming lifestyle.
