2026 Apple Season Update

We wish we had better news to share, but unfortunately, we will not have apples this year.

The hard freeze we experienced back in April caused devastating damage to fruit crops throughout Delta County and beyond. The majority of our grower's apple crops were lost. It’s been a difficult year for local growers, and we know many of you look forward to getting your apples from us each fall.

If you’re looking for locally grown organic Fuji apples, the only place we’re currently aware of that has a limited volume available is Farm Runners in Hotchkiss, CO. We’re so grateful that Fortunate Fruit had a few that made it through the freeze!

Thank you for continuing to support our local farms and agricultural community, especially during a year that has been incredibly challenging.

We’ll keep you updated if we hear of other local apple availability!
