Flipside Farm CLOSED until October! Offering winter grown, fresh, organic salad greens from our roadside stand since 2012.

Our winter produce is grown in a simple greenhouse where we explore the limits of what can be grown in this climate using only natural heat from the sun. We are focused on sustainable agricultural methods such as soil health, water conservation, composting, cover cropping, crop rotations, beneficial insects, rewarding hard work, and selling locally.

Yes, we live in the Colorado high country, and we use ZERO heat and energy in our hoop houses. We cover the greens with blankets at night when the temperatures dip into the teens. These plants and our business thrive on this low-tech, low cost method.

We're providing our community with ~1500 servings of greens per week, requiring just two people, two hoop houses, and zero electricity/gas/solar power. Don't overthink it or overspend on techy solutions!!
