A Tasting of New Releases from West Elks AVA Wineries
Paonia, CO (June 16th and 17th, 2012 - 11:00-5:00) � Colorado's summer season is here, and to celebrate, the winemakers of Paonia and Hotchkiss, CO invite you to come the beautiful North Fork Valley and taste their newly released wines at the first annual North Fork Uncorked. Festivities, hosted by each of the wineries of the West Elks AVA, will be held throughout the area. North Fork Uncorked is two days of exciting events featuring wine and food pairings, live music, entertainment, and winemaker dinners. Wow, thanks Jacob! I has no idea my ginger wine would become the little wine that could!

I drank way too much wine in 2011. Just looking back at the company receipts for the year is a little scary. Mom would not be proud. At least it gave me incredible insight into the Colorado wine world, covering the great to the horrific and everything in between.

We won Best White Wine for our 2009 Riesling and Most Creative Wine for our ShangriLa (Ginger Wine) at the Ouray Wine, Chocolate and Cheese Festival on Saturday! Thanks to Faith and all the people who worked so hard putting together the event. It was great fun.
