🍅The farmstand is stocked! We have tomatoes too! 🍅

• Russet type – Caribou Russet & Shepody (these are not all baker size yet) 🤎

• Blues (& patriotic mix of red, white & blue) 💙
• Russet Burbank bakers from 2025 crop 💚
☔Included is some fixed wing aircraft imagery from one of our farms showing water stress and a little relief from some rainfall a couple of weeks ago, we sure need rain, it is desperately dry! ☔

The farmstand is fully stocked and now includes Shepody and a new variety called Queen Anne with bright yellow skin and creamy yellow flesh. The Shepody are not baker size, if you are looking for that size, there are Russet Burbank available from last years crop in baker size. This year’s crop needs more time to reach baker size.
Please join us this Sunday, August 23rd at 11 am for the annual harvest mass and potluck in the potato storage behind the farmstand (529 North Street, Houlton)!

We dug this morning and have a selection of fresh potatoes and other produce in the farmstand. The crop is growing, so we have had a price reduction! It is Potato Feast Days in Houlton, celebrate with your community! For potato varieties we have:
• Dark Red Norland
• Katahdin
• Kennebec
• Superior
• Keuka Gold
• Caribou Russet
• Adirondack Blue
• Russet Burbank baker size (from 2025 crop)
• Patriotic Mix (red, white and blue potatoes in one 5 lb. bag)
We hope to have Pinto Gold soon. We will have Shepody next week and possibly Queen Anne (a new yellow variety we planted). Included is a potato muffin recipe from Barrett’s Grandmother, Ruth Peabody that was in the Potato Feast Days Cookbook from 30+ years ago we found at Volumes Bookstore!

Come see us, it is produce season in Aroostook County! Aimee found a heart shaped potato when we were digging this morning! Try some blue potatoes mashed for something different!
For potatoes we have – reds, yellows, blues, Caribou Russet, Katahdin, Kennebec, Superior, old crop baker sized Russet Burbank.
We have green and yellow beans, cucumbers (eating and pickling), broccoli, cauliflower, and zucchini!
Raspberry season was a great run, but it has sadly come to an end!

🥬 Everyone has been busy, including Macky and Molly! 🥬
💛 We have yellow beans to go with the new potatoes! Piersen’s greenhouse is producing many eating cucumbers and Macky and Molly have pickling cukes from the field too! 🥒
🥔 We have now added Kennebec and Katahdin to the potato line up! We also dug blue potatoes today and have the patriotic mix available of red, white and blue potatoes! ❤️🤍💙
❤️ Raspberry season is still hanging on! If you need a sweet fix, don’t forget about the potato needham whoopie pies! 🥧
☀️ One more item, we have a basket of individual baker size Russet Burbank to choose from if you just want a few and not an entire bag. ☀️

🌿 If you are looking for raspberries, they are still available, but the season is winding down! 🌿
✨During the fall Rotary Auction, the kids won a certificate for advertising on WAGM. They used their certificate to create a Here’s My Card ad on WAGM, which starts airing this week! 🎉
