Chicken season is here. Every year we raise our own 100% pasture raised chickens. Raise, grow, and process ourselves. That being said, we normally order a few extra for anyone who may be interested in ordering some 100% clean pasture raised chickens for their household. Chickens are approximately 3.5-4lbs processed. Cut up and quartered chickens will be limited unless you specifically request it before processing date.
We will also have limited supply of pasture raised duck.
Market prices for this year:
•Whole Chicken (3.5-4lb) $5.50/lb
•Whole Chicken cut up (2 breast, 2 wings, 2 leg qtrs) $6.50/lb
•Chicken Broth $10/ 24oz jar
• Chicken wings $4.50/lb
• Chicken breast $10/lb
• Leg Quarters $5.50/lb
•Whole Duck $35
We dont look to get rich off of selling chickens, but rather provide others who share the same values when it comes to quality meat, with the opportunity to have it. The way prices are determined is by looking to see what other local farms sell the same quality type birds for and average it out. That being said if you like to purchase chicken from us, comment or message us and your name will be put on the list. We will contact you once the chickens have been processed. HOWEVER, it will be first come first serve basis.
