But I thought you had to give up alcohol to lose weight?

No beb. ❤️

When we learn how to track calories and understand our macros, we can still enjoy life while being mindful of our goals.

I took an extra 10 minutes to look at labels before picking this one up. There were at least 6 other sugar-free or lower-calorie options right beside it! Things you could blend with ice and turn into your own macro-friendly adult slushie. 🍹✨

The goal isn’t to make you give up everything you love. The goal is to teach you how to make choices that actually fit your lifestyle.

At SHREDSKIZ, we help you find the simple swaps that make you say, “Wait… I can still have that?!”

Because your health journey shouldn’t feel like punishment. It should teach you how to live. 💪🏼

Pictured is the average caloric content for daiquiri for just 16 oz …

We could have 5 of these for just 1 (not that we should - just sayin friend) 👀

I posted this as a desperate attempt to figure out a direction for shredskiz.

10 appointments scheduled.
3 people showed up and signed up.
1 person gave me her all for an entire year.

And that one person?

Ms. Cherie. ❤️

Every time she wanted to quit…

Every time the pain was unbearable…

Every time the scale didn’t move and she had to remind herself that progress isn’t always measured by a number…

Every meal she invested in (because let’s be real — meal prepping is an investment)…

She kept showing up.
She is in her 60’s.
And while I’ve heard people half her age give me every reason why they “can’t” do this…
SHE DID.

My girl has lost 96 pounds and counting.

But let me tell you something…

The Shredskiz recipes were just the tool.
The real work was HER.

It was her choosing herself when it was uncomfortable.

It was her learning to love herself enough to believe she deserved a different life.

It was her trusting the process when the results weren’t happening fast enough.

It was turning “a diet” into a lifestyle.

Watching her grow this year has honestly made ME grow too.

Y’all please keep Ms. Cherie in your prayers as she goes into hip surgery Thursday. 🙏🏼

Because guess what?!

SHE MADE IT TO GOAL. 🥹

The same goal she commented about a year ago.

The same goal that felt so far away.

And now she gets to walk into surgery knowing she did the work to get herself there.

Only God. ❤️

God carried her through the moments she didn’t think she could keep going.

And when people ask me why I do what I do…

It’s for people like Ms. Cherie.

The people who are sick and tired of being sick and tired.

The people who are ready to give themselves a chance.
The people who are willing to say:

“Enough is enough. I’m ready.”

Now y’all get ready because we’re about to watch Ms. Cherie write her next chapter…

Because I already know we’re gonna be in the gym getting after it soon. 💪🏼😂
