Marley says we're in for a mostly sunny day today, with lower humidity, and temperatures in the mid 70's by afternoon. So in other words, a really nice day! He hopes that everyone can get out and make the most of it!!!

Today’s Friday good morning greeting is from a very noble and gallant soul, righter of wrongs, and a sworn protector of our fair estate; it’s Charlie, also known as Good Sir Charles of Hokaheh! Well, he will be all of those things, as soon as he wakes up! Well, it looks like he opened his eyes just as I was taking his picture! Charlie says his eyes may have been closed, but he heard me, because his ears are always open for business! Charlie says that keeping an eye on things and making sure all of his friends are safe is very important. But he says something else is very important too, and it’s something that helps him protect our fair estate even better. And he says he’s doing that something in his picture; relaxing! Good Sir Charles of Hokaheh says that no matter what’s going on in your day, it’s very important that at some point when you’re able, to take a little time to yourself; to relax, retool, and even get some sleep! He says it gives you all the more energy to be a noble and gallant righter of wrongs! And he says for the past almost 2 years now, he says he’s been able to rest a little easier, since our guardian friends Aneto and his brother Perdido came along! He says they do such a good job of keeping an eye on things, that he calls them Amazing Aneto, and Persistent Perdido! Charlie says now he’s able to take a full-fledged nap, instead of a quick snooze here and there! He says rest is very important, and he truly hopes that each and every one of you get the rest you need, each and every day! And he says he hopes that everybody has a favorite place to do it! He says when he’s resting, it’s usually on one of the benches, or on the wooden spools. And he says his best pal Dizzy is usually with him, as long as he doesn’t snore! He said last time he did, he thought it was the UPS truck with engine trouble! Charlie says it’s Friday, and we’re 1 day away from the weekend, and 2 days away from summer and Father’s Day! He hopes everyone has had a great week so far. And most of all, Good Sir Charles of Hokaheh wishes everybody a really wonderful day!

I had a visitor in the vegetable garden this morning! A very young robin! It was just sitting on one of the raised beds, while 2 mature robins were flying around frantically, making a bit of noise. So I'm guessing those were the parents! It could fly fairly well, but wasn't answering the other robins. So I used a towel to move it to a more prominent location where they could spot it easily. I came back a little while later, and it was gone. Hopefully it made it back home!
