Roo and Coco got to visit Dr. Brandy Ashman and Tina Chavis yesterday at Hoofbeats Equine Service, LLC! Both got clean checkups...Roo got his teeth floated and shots and Coco just needed a checkup and desperately needed a float. Huntleigh and Thistle even got to glove up and help!! We are so incredibly blessed to have such an amazing vet and her team right across the road for our horses!

Happy National Farriers week to my favorite farrier!

Most people see a horse standing quietly after a trim or new set of shoes. What they don't see are the long days, early mornings, the aching back, the sore knees, and the dedication it takes to care for horse after horse.

I see all of it.

I see the pride my husband takes in every hoof he trims and every horse he works on. I see the extra time he spends making sure things are done right, the concern he has when a horse is sore, and the relationships he's built with so many wonderful clients over the years.

Our own horses at Flat Creek Farm are lucky to have him, and we are incredibly grateful to every family that trusts him to take care of theirs too.

Thank you for the hard work, your heart, and the passion you bring to a profession that often goes unnoticed. We are so proud of you!
