Like working outdoors? Enjoy physical work? Not scared of an occasional splinter?

We currently have a part-time opportunity assisting primarily with our firewood operation. Daily tasks will include:
- Cutting/splitting firewood
- Sorting/stacking wood as needed
- Preparing firewood bundles
- Loading trucks/trailers for delivery
- Keeping the woodyard clean and organized

Starting wage: $18 per hour, increasing to $20 per hour after 30 days with 100% schedule adherence.

The right candidate could also join our Christmas tree farm team during the holiday season for additional hours and the opportunity for higher earnings though tips.

Experience is not necessary. We can train anyone with the right work ethic. See comments for interest form.

We've been waiting for a rainy weekend to get a jump start on our Christmas season! This weekend we started on a new Santa sleigh photo opp, and painted a few wood slice ornaments. The crazy thing for us is we only have 6 more weekends until we open for the season.

Kiln Dried firewood is now available.

If you aren't familiar with kiln dried wood, this has basically been cooked in a big oven. The heat evaporates all the moisture from the wood and it also kills all insects.

The result is wood that lights easily, burns hot and clean with minimal smoke, and burns completely. It's also better if you plan on storing it indoors since it's insect-free.
