What a great Sunday at Uptown Park -Farmers Market . Thanks to and who tried our vegan coconut bread and muffins. The word "vegan" may scare some folk, but it shouldn't. After tasting, most can't believe they're eating non dairy baked goods. We're used to that reaction🙂... PSA, plant based foods are gentler on the body and even help our planet. The good news is that our Chef Paulina has mastered the art of tasty baking w/o animal products. She even makes custom cakes and cupcakes- checkout her new book on display at the table. Many say our is great anytime. BUT, try making for a decadent Carribean twist. Chef Paulina likes hers 'naked' to preserve the natural coconut and cinnamon flavors, but you can dress it up with some powdered sugar and agave. To make it a healthy meal, just add tofu "scrambled eggs" (or JUST Egg ) and Beyond Meat sausage links. Get your fresh coconut bread this weekend at Braeswood Farmers Market (Sat 9-1p) or Bridgeland Farmer's Market (Sun 12:30-3:30p) Have a great week! ✌🏽➕️🤎

We picked this station b/c some of the firemen ran 3 miles in their gear at the Tunnel to Towers Greater Houston Area 5k in Cypress on 9/10.
