Although this is scary -Today I’m sharing a piece of my story of life in hopes it helps ,inspires, or triggers others into betterment ! Some things can only be understood after you’ve survived them.
At the beginning of this year I was basically baker acted and spent 72 hours in a psych ward , at that time I was going through a season that changed me deeply. I lost parts of myself, had to face things I didn’t understand, and ultimately found my way back to God and to myself.
I also want to clarify something from the video: I know my Mary/feet reference wasn’t biblically accurate. I wasn’t trying to give a Bible lesson, and I could have explained that reference better in regards to Jesus having a relationship with the Mary. The point I was trying to portray was grace, redemption, love, and the way God can see value in someone that people have already decided is unworthy. You can figure out the point I was making even if I didn’t tell the story perfectly. 😂❤️
What people may label as “broken,” “too much,” or even “trash,” God can still call a treasure. Man sees the outside; God knows the entire story.
And with that same grace, I’m taking accountability for my own part. I apologize to anyone I hurt while I was trying to find myself again. I’m sorry for the ways my pain, confusion, or losing myself may have affected you.
But I’m also not waiting around for apologies that may never come.
I’ve learned that forgiveness doesn’t always mean reconciliation. I can forgive you, wish you well, and still decide that I don’t want to be cool, connected, or in communication with you anymore.
I said I’m sorry. I meant it. But that doesn’t mean I’m reopening doors that God helped me close.
So consider this my release.
No hard feelings. No revenge. No more explaining myself. No more energy exchanges.
You can pretend I’m dead if that makes it easier. 😂 Because the version of me you knew is not the version that’s moving forward.
I’m choosing God. I’m choosing peace. I’m choosing growth. I’m choosing the life I’m building.
And as I ascend into everything God has for me, I genuinely wish you well…
…but you
