Y’all know out to eat is my favorite place to be so here’s all the delicious things I ate in June. 😋
Every year on her birthday, I choose a restaurant I’ve never been to & essentially have dinner with my mom. We used to love trying flavors that are new to us so I visited Alora in Montrose. I had a couple dishes here but the ceviche really stood out. Super flavorful and a little tangy and I love the sweet potato in the ceviche. Alora
A rooftop vibe and a little glass of wine are gonna get me every time. All the food was decent, but the risotto was really my favorite part of the night. I definitely wanna come back to try more menu items. The restaurant is so visually stunning. I could sit there all night. APERITIVO
Chargrilled oysters are one of my favorite foods! Y’all know I will find Mr. oyster man wherever he goes when he comes to Houston. This time he just happened to come with some cornbread dressing topped oysters that I have been asking him for..for months. 10/10 did not disappoint! OYSTER KING
First time at Le Colonial and everything was so delicious. The shaking beef was TENDERNISM and you could just bury me under a little blanket of the ginger chicken, please & thank you. Le Colonial
I trekked day and night across Houston to find this place because TikTok told me I had to try Banh Khot. I was expecting the whole thing to be crispy but this one had crispy edges and a soft pancake like bottom. I do wish the shrimp was seasoned, but the sauces that came with it were SO very good. I will be eating it again and again, but I want to try it at a couple different places around Houston.

My grandma knows the camera eats first, but she broke the rules this time lol I don’t blame her because its pecan pie tart was surprisingly really tasty. 10/10
I heard this place was really good, but I think y’all undersold it honestly. These are probably some of the most flavorful tacos I’ve had in a while especially that shrimp chipotle. It was spicier than I expected
