Although I truly enjoy helping others and have become a main point of contact for permit questions, it has honestly become overwhelming at times.
Over time I have found myself completing the entire permit process for people, and I have realized that this is no longer something I can continue doing. My time is valuable, and with the growing number of requests, I simply cannot take on that responsibility for everyone.
Moving forward, I will be charging a fee for permit application assistance due to the high volume of help requests I receive. Please understand that assistance does not replace your responsibility as a vendor or business owner.
I will also not be held responsible if you arrive at an event unprepared or fail an inspection. It is YOUR responsibility to thoroughly read all applications, approval notices, denial letters, and permit requirements. You are responsible for ensuring that you meet all health department standards, have the required equipment, and follow all regulations for your specific event.
I am always happy to point people in the right direction and answer questions when I can, but ultimately the responsibility falls on you to understand and comply with all requirements.
I hope the slides I have added help answer some of the most common questions I receive. Please take the time to read through them carefully before reaching out for assistance, as many of the answers can be found there.
