THE ART OF FLOWERS & PAPER
Solo Exhibition by Yvette Grutter. Yv a Mexican-Swiss-American artist based in Houston. Her work explores memory, identity, nature, and personal experience through printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, and handmade paper. She has exhibited internationally in the United States, Mexico, Switzerland, Spain, and Turkey, and in 2025 was named a Cultural Ambassador by the Government of Mexico. She also has more than 40 years of experience in art education and has taught programs and workshops at The Menil Collection.

In her newest series, Yvette incorporates natural flowers into handmade paper, combining research, experimentation, and a delicate process designed to preserve the unique character of each flower.

Discover the story of Celia Maestri and the vision that became Casa Maestri, a family-owned, woman-led tequila distillery rooted in Mexico and driven by a passion for sharing the quality and spirit of Mexican tequila with the world. 🇲🇽

Celia’s dream was not only to build her own distillery, but to create opportunities for women along the way.

Today, more than 90% of our workforce are women each bringing her own passion, strength, and talent to the Casa Maestri story.

At the heart of Celia’s dream was her biggest inspiration of all: Mexico. 🇲🇽
