π§βπ³ Culinary Creations Week is Off to a Delicious Start! π
Our young chefs have been busy building confidence in the kitchen while developing important life skills through hands-on culinary experiences!
ππMonday: Students created colorful layered parfaits, practicing measuring, following directions, making healthy food choices, and exploring layers and patterns. They also strengthened fine motor skills while carefully assembling their creations.
ππ§Tuesday: Our chefs transformed a classic favorite into Pizza Grilled Cheese! Students learned how fresh herbs can enhance flavor, discussed kitchen and griddle safety, and practiced spreading, flipping, transferring, and assembling their sandwiches independently. Of course, the highlight was the epic cheese pull! π€€
We're so proud of our young chefs for stepping outside their comfort zones, trying new foods, and working safely and responsibly in the kitchen.
