Mongolian Ground Beef and Vegetables Stir Fry

Ingredients

For the Sauce

* ¼ cup soy sauce
* ¼ cup light brown sugar
* 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
* 1 tsp black pepper

For the Stir Fry

(Really any veggies you want!! But here is the original “exact” amount of veggies.)
* 2 tbsp oil
* 1 large red bell pepper, thinly sliced
* 1 large onion, sliced
* 1 cup broccoli florets, chopped
* 1 medium zucchini, sliced into half-moons
* Salt and pepper, to taste
* 1 lb ground beef
* 5–6 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, and black pepper. Set aside.
2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add the bell pepper, onion, broccoli, and zucchini. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender-crisp. Remove from pan once cooked.
4. Add the ground beef to same pan and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
5. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
6. Bring veggies back to the pan and add with ground beef.
7. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
8. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
9. Season with additional salt and pepper if desired.
10. Serve hot over rice, or noodles.
11. ENJOY!

There’s something so rewarding about planting a tiny seed, caring for it day by day, and then harvesting it to put a meal on your family’s table. 🌱🥹

From garden to dinner plate — it doesn’t get much better than that.

Recipe coming soon! 🤍

Due to some very special people tying the knot this weekend, we will not be at the Farmers Market on Friday, and the farmstand will be CLOSED as well. 💍🤍

We appreciate your understanding as we take time to celebrate this special occasion with family and friends!

We’ll see you all soon!
