Clean Water for Pakistan – We started this project in November 2009 in cooperation with HASWA and Rotary Club of Karachi with total funding from Forward Movement endowment fund. We have deployed nearly three thousand water purification units since then at no cost to recipients. Our

system, made in USA, provides nearly 100 % bacteria free water to families, schools, and other community facilities

. The filtration system is very efficient and cost effective and requires no power. It is based on medical technology used in kidney dialysis machines. Each unit is guaranteed to provide at least one million gallons of clean bacteria free water.. This program is open to individual and organizational partners. Agrivoltaics is an innovative farming method that combines agriculture and solar power generation on the same piece of land. Instead of choosing between growing crops or installing solar panels, farmers can do both at once, making better use of limited farmland while producing clean, renewable electricity.

In a typical agrivoltaic system, solar panels are mounted high above the ground or arranged in rows with crops planted beneath or between them. Shade-tolerant crops such as vegetables, shrubs, berries, and some fruit trees can thrive in these partially shaded conditions while the panels continue generating electricity.

The solar panels help protect crops from harsh weather, including extreme heat, intense sunlight, hail, and heavy storms. The shade also reduces water evaporation from the soil, helping crops stay cooler and lowering irrigation needs, especially in hot and dry climates.

The relationship works both ways. Plants release moisture through transpiration, which cools the surrounding air. This natural cooling effect can lower the temperature of the solar panels, improving their efficiency since photovoltaic panels perform better when they operate at cooler temperatures.

Agrivoltaics also supports biodiversity by creating habitats for pollinators and allowing a wider variety of plants to grow. The dual-use approach improves land-use efficiency, helping countries expand renewable energy without sacrificing productive farmland or food production.

From an economic perspective, agrivoltaics provides farmers with two sources of income: agricultural products and solar electricity. Farmers can also use part of the generated electricity to power irrigation systems, machinery, or other farm operations, while selling excess power to the grid under long-term energy agreements where available.

As demand for both clean energy and food continues to grow, agrivoltaics is emerging as a practical solution for sustainable land management. Countries around the world are increasingly exploring this approach to improve food security, strengthen climate resilience, conserve water, and accelerate the transition to renewable energy.

Chile just activated Cerro Dominador II — a 3,500-megawatt solar installation on the Atacama Desert plateau at 2,400 meters elevation, generating electricity at 1.9 US cents per kilowatt-hour — the cheapest clean electricity price ever recorded for any generating technology anywhere on Earth.

The Atacama receives the highest solar irradiance measured on the planet's surface at 3,500 kilowatt-hours per square meter annually — nearly three times northern Europe's resource. At this elevation, thinner atmosphere reduces light scattering and near-zero humidity eliminates panel soiling losses entirely. The facility combines photovoltaics with 24-hour molten salt thermal storage, delivering firm baseload power continuously.

Chile exports surplus generation to Argentina, Peru, and Bolivia through cross-border interconnectors, positioning itself as South America's primary clean energy exporter. The 1.9-cent generation cost makes Chilean solar competitive with natural gas at any price level.
