Had a great ride this morning. Rode a bit longer than last time and got in some trot time. She was doing really well at collecting and her half passes. Found out she is almost a reining horse on her neck rein to the left, we even got some speed on the pivot. Her neck rein to the right was not as good but that could be because my spur down broke so my spur was shifting so she might have gotten a cue misunderstanding or we need to do more work on that direction or a combination of the two. Both of us came away sweaty. 😓🥵

Great day for a ride. It's been quite awhile but it felt great to get some saddle time.

I spent some time with my girl. We had a grooming day. She got to model her halter I bought a couple of years ago for travel and shows that we still haven't made it to, so it has just been hanging in the trailer.
