It’s the perfect neutral side that complements Salvadoran red beans without overpowering them. And when cold, it’s just right for making casamiento.

Salvadoran Red Silk Beans (Frijoles Rojos de Seda) From one humble pot begins a whole journey of dishes. The first stop on this adventure starts at the source with a classic bowl of Red Beans in Broth (Sopa de Frijoles) a warm, comforting bowl of bean soup that’s delicious on its own, and even better with hard-boiled eggs, Salvadoran (ES) Creama, Queso Duro or fluffy Masa Dumplings. Incase you’re are wondering, there’s nothing wrong with adding them all.
