Congratulations to Dr. Somnath Basu on the publishing of Waste Management in Petroleum Industries! He served as a Corresponding Editor on this project alongside Dr. Andrew Shaw and Mudumbai Venkatesh.

Dr. Basu is actively a consultant for Headworks, an independent technology consultant, an acclaimed Fellow of the Water Environment Federation, American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and continues to be a very important part of Headworks International!

The Georgia Water Conference is always an exceptional regional show. It grew to become one of the larger U.S. state shows. It is held in Savannah, the oldest city in Georgia and the last colonial capital founded among the Thirteen Colonies. It is fascinating to have a cocktail in one of the many fabulous river terraces and watch a massive container boat slowly move by on the Savannah River.
