Last minute change! Taproom will be open at 5 today and we will be open today to get rid of our remaining inventory of cans! All cans $2! We have limited selection but still have cans of Patent Pending, Singapore Sling, Baked Apple Pie, Rose’s Cyser, Guava Dragonfruit, and others. So come and get them! LAST chance!

Join us Friday in the taproom for a fundraiser for ! They’re celebrating all their foster parents for all they do AND also raising money for future rescues! We made a custom cyser with local backyard honey that we’ll be pouring at the event along with some SWEET custom glassware for sale. Come join the fun!

Hi Everyone and welcome to the last Cider Release Wednesday! In this post we’re going to provide more details about our last week.
First off, party details:
-Party starts at 3pm on Saturday.
-The theme is The Greatest Hits, so you’ll be seeing some of our most popular ciders on tap and to-go.
- will be out serving AMAZING burgers and sausages starting at 5pm.
- Discounted T-shirts and pint glasses, while supplies last
-See our pined parking map for places to park

Now on to this week’s releases:
1) Fall Back is baaaaack and will be available starting Thursday. One of our most favorite ciders, it’s made with cranberry, tangerine, and rosemary and it hits alll the fall notes.
2) Baked Apple Pie will on tap and to-go but only on Saturday! It’s a special release just for the party. So if this is one of your favorites then you gotta come on Saturday!
3) Stay tuned for a special surprise release, post on that will come later!

Hi everyone! Wanted to give an update for anyone coming to the taproom today. We’re open normal hours, and because we weren’t quite expecting the response we’ve gotten, to-go sales are very limited today. We have plenty of cider on-tap, just a couple cases left of cans for to-go. We will be canning a ton more this week, so we will have plenty available to-go again starting Thursday. Please still do come out and say hi if you were planning on it, it’s been so great to see so many people come out and support!

This post is hard to write, but the time has come. Houston Cider will be closing for good this month. It’s not an easy decision for us to make because over the years we’ve made so many good friends, had so many good conversations, and have had so much fun making what we think are some of the most unique ciders around. So with a heavy heart we’re announcing that Saturday November 15th will be our last day.
We will genuinely miss all of you, and will especially miss our regulars (you know who you are). You will all hold a special place in our hearts for the rest of our lives, and we hope we carved out a small space in yours as well.

On November 15th we will be having a blow-out party to celebrate new beginnings. Save the date! There will be more details about the party coming out in the next week or so, stay tuned!

🚨SPECIAL🚨release this week! The hazy cider that started it all for us, Patent Pending is back! We looked into it and it’s been almost TWO YEARS since we last had Patent Pending on tap! Crazy how time flies. This was our first hazy hopped cider and it’s still made with loads of Azacca and Mosaic hops, added all throughout fermentation which leads to HUGE hop flavor and aroma but non of the bitterness you get from IPA’s. Big citrus and tropical fruit flavors with this one. Coming in at 6.9% ABV it’s pretty potent stuff. On tap starting tomorrow and cans on Friday! We hope to see you all this week!!

Hi Folks, this week we’re bringing back the Pineapple Whip! A crazed favorite, this cider is made with loads of pineapple and finished with a touch of vanilla. This cider is on the medium sweetness side, full of flavor and quite refreshing! You can find it on tap starting Thursday and in cans Friday. We hope to see you all this week!

Hi everyone! This week we’re bringing back a cult favorite, the Raspberry Yuzu Radler! It’s got so much going on this one, from the red fruit flavors, to the zippy acidity from both the raspberries and the Yuzu, this cider never disappoints! Plus it’s only 3.0%. ABV so you can have a few and not worry about getting too tipsy 😀! The Raspberry Yuzu Radler will be on draft starting today and in cans to-go starting tomorrow. Cheers!

Another Cider Release Wednesday is upon us 🍾🎉! This week we’re bringing back Boyz In The Hood! This cider is a doozy, coming in at 8.5% ABV. It’s fermented with LOADS of boysenberries, and finished with Organic Maple syrup 🍁 for additional mouthfeel and flavor. It’s a rich, fruit-forward cider that is full flavored, and always a crowd pleaser. You can find it on tap in our Taproom starting Thursday, and in cans starting Friday. See you all soon!

Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! We’re back at it this week with our dark horse cider, What’s Up Doc? This is our carrot tangerine Radler style cider that is one of those ciders in the taproom that people initially balk at, then fall in love with! The combo of tangerine and carrot really complement each other. And this is a low ABV offering so we like to make sure you’re still getting all the flavor! On tap and in cans to-go starting Thursday! We hope to see you all in the taproom this week!
