As with many of our customers and those in and around Houston, we have no water. We can not open without having water. We apologize, but it is completely out of our control. We are CLOSED TODAY.

As most of you have heard, there is a new mandate requiring all customers and employees to wear a mask while inside a business. We are asking all customers please help us with this mandate and please wear a mask while inside our store. We will not be allowed to offer service to any customer that doesn't follow this mandate. We appreciate your cooperation with this and keeping everyone safe.

As per the CDC:
Coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread from person-to-person through respiratory droplets. Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with food. Before preparing or eating food it is important to always wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds for general food safety. Throughout the day wash your hands after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing, or going to the bathroom.
It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes, but this is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads.
In general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from food products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient, refrigerated, or frozen temperatures.

As we continue as a Nation to fight this virus, businesses have to look at ways of protecting their employees as well as consumers, so effective immediately and until further notice, B & W Meat Co. will be closing every day at 5 p.m. We are also limiting the amount of customers that are inside at any given time, so we ask for your help and understanding on this. Just a friendly reminder of our holiday hours.
We will be closing at 2:00 p.m. on December 24th, closed all day on the 25th, will be open regular hours on December 26th. Also, we will be open regular hours on December 31st, closed on January 1st, and will be open regular hours on January 2nd.

When I call ahead and ask to place an order so I can pick it up, and you tell me you don’t do that and that I have to come inside to order, and I drive across town to show up and take a number and stand in line only to then be told that you don’t have the one item I came all that way to get, you have underscored the need for you to reconsider your “policy” of not letting your customers call ahead.

It's frustratingly difficult to find the perfect Christmas dinner here in Houston.... I'm looking for about 3lbs of boneless, skin-on pork belly... Are you THE store who saves our Christmas family dinner !? If not, perhaps you can point me in the right direction 😇
