Calling all St. Jude Children's Research Hospital supporters.

On April 29 Joy will be swimming for a cause. PACK Swimming has its annual fundraiser 15% of funds raised will be donated to St. Jude’s.

You can make a flat donation or pledge for every lap Joy makes. Her max is 40 laps. All donations are tax deductible. To donate click on the link below and select Jorlaney Oquendo as participant.

A Cup of Joy is a lemonade stand owned and operated by 11 year old Joy Oquendo. Joy began her lemonade business when she was 4 and has sold over $3,000. She has donated to Texas Children's Hospital, Roth Elementary School, Institución Angel de Luz Inc., Hurricane Harvey & Hurricane Maria Victims.

Joy Oquendo Foundation aims to provide low-to-moderate income minority youth with the resources in order to have many Joy Oquendo’s.

This morning I was fortunate to appear on Fox26 Houston with Lemonade Day to promote kidpreneurship. One of the behind the scene questions asked was, what advice would you give other kids?

I advise other children to try the program. Find something that your passionate and work for it. Be the change that you wish to see. The change starts with I!
