Athletic superstar Bo Jackson knows all about football and baseball, and now he's ready to hit a home run in the culinary world!
Sysco has formed a partnership with Jackson's company, Jackson & Partners, to launch an assortment of signature foods, including Veteran Strong beef patties manufactured by Sysco's specialty company, Buckhead Meat.
The product's name is inspired by Bo's strong support for veterans. In fact, one dollar from every case of Veteran Strong patties sold will be donated by Jackson & Partners to Hire Heroes USA , which provides economic opportunities for military community members.

Vegetable Oils
Slight reduction last week for soybean and palm, but still in record high territory. Lack of sunflower oil has caused other varieties to be sought after. Corn oil is extremely hard to find.
Seafood
A large part of the Russian crab is unsellable due to the conflict with Ukraine and Russia. A suggested substitute item for Russian snow crab is Canadian snow crab.
Eggs
Due to avian influenza being identified in 3 of 4 flyways, infected laying chickens are being euthanized and causing egg prices to rapidly increase with declining stocks.

Meet Jim, a forklift operator at our Seattle site. From helping customers in need of changing a tire to volunteering to help make deliveries on weekends, Jim’s teamwork spirit is contagious. Jim recently helped Sysco service a customer that runs National Geographic vessels holding approximately 100 guests; these vessels are on a time bound schedule, and with guests on board, they have zero recovery options.
