Moonlight Cookers BBQ Team

Moonlight Cookers BBQ Team Moonlight Cookers is a Champion BBQ team comprised of Don Wright, Darrell Quiroz, & the Moonlight HLSR BBQ Team.

The team is a member of the International Barbeque Cookers Association (IBCA) and Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) and has competed widely in both. Over the last 16 years, the team competed in championships from Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Colorado to Arizona winning many state and national championships.

The 2023 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo World's Championship BBQ is now in the books!

From The Moonlight Cookers Team, we shout out a big Thank You! to all our donors, supporters & guest for your generous contributions and participation. We hope you & your guest enjoyed our venue and had great time.

The Moonlight Cookers placed as a finalist (Top 10) in the Chicken category out of 252 Teams and placed 78th for the overall competition!

The 2023 HLSR BBQ World Championship Cook-Off is up and running, the Moonlight Cookers BBQ Team gives a big Texas Welcome & Thanks to all our Donors and Contributors, that being said we are at full capacity & no longer have any Tent Invitations available. Again Thank you & we look forward to seeing you.
