Dear SCR Residents,

We are excited to announce this year’s Fall SCR Community Garage Sale on Friday, September 11th, and Saturday, September 12th, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. While you can still participate on one or both days, the City of Pearland has updated its permit process, so please review the new registration steps below.

Important Changes to the Registration Process

The City of Pearland now requires residents to apply and pay for garage sale permits directly through their online portal at https://cityworks.pearlandtx.gov/publicportal/login If you need assistance setting up your account, the city provides a helpful "How To Create An Account" video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbE3uCrgSOg&list=PLJmKXSlNGhi3YxE_NirtXrKOTljMq5Tr5&index=2 Select your dates and pay the permit fee directly within the system. Please note that due to these city-level changes, the HOA is no longer able to cover permit fees for the first 100 participants.

Required Action to Receive Signs and Join the Map

Once you have paid your permit fee, email your street address and permit number to [email protected] no later than 5pm, Thursday, August 27th. Sending us your permit details is mandatory so our office can retrieve your official signs and add your address to the community map at www.shadowcreekranchhoa.com Look for a confirmation email from our staff to ensure your details were received; without that confirmation, your signs will not be available for pickup.

Sign Pickup and Event Details

You can pick up your garage sale signs at the HOA office (12234 Shadow Creek Pkwy, Suite 3112) from Tuesday, September 8th, through Thursday, September 10th. To help boost traffic, we will place new signage at every main community entrance promoting the community sale. Additionally, we have partnered with Goodwill to offer a drop-off location at the Biscayne Bay Recreation Center from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM where you can donate unsold items and receive a tax receipt. Please scan the QR code on Goodwill’s flyer for the acceptance list of donated items.

Important Reminders for the "SCR Glow Party" Event

Dear SCR Residents,

Before we "Glow Crazy" at our SCR Glow Party tonight, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Biscayne Bay Recreation Center (13210 E. Windward Bay Dr.).

Please note the following important guidelines for participation in the event:

• Amenity Cards Required: An active amenity card is mandatory for entry, granting admission for up to four participants per card. Temporary pool cards will not be accepted

• No Re-entry: Re-entry will not be permitted once you exit the pool gate. All attendees will receive a wristband upon entry.

• Occupancy Limit: The pool deck has a maximum occupancy of 250 people. Entry will be paused once this limit is reached until space becomes available.

• Entire Party Must Be Present: Guests with an amenity card must enter with their entire party. Later arrivals will require their own amenity card and will need to wait in line for entry.

• Designated Entry/Exit: The front gate is designated for entry only. The side gate will be utilized for exiting.

• Adjusted Pool Hours: Biscayne Bay's regular pool hours will be affected. The pool will close at 6:00 PM and reopen at 7:00 PM for the event.

• No Personal Items: Please do not bring personal items such as furniture, canopies, coolers, or floats. (Infant and Toddler floats are permitted)

• Pool Rules Apply: Posted rules for use of the facility remain in effect.

Join us tonight at the Biscayne Bay Rec. Center pool for our SCR SAYOR Movie Night!

Here is what’s on the schedule:

5:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Dinner & Drinks: Magnolia’s Cajun Comfort and Beaucoup Juice will be on-site selling delicious food and refreshing drinks.

8:00 PM | Movie Time: Grab a spot on the pool deck to watch The Book of Life. Plus, The Funnel Experience will be serving up fresh funnel cakes during the show!

Important Reminders:

Amenity Pass: Please remember to bring your amenity access card to enter the pool deck.

Safety First: This is a Swim at Your Own Risk (SAYOR) event. While SCR staff will be on hand to assist, no lifeguards will be on duty. Please be sure to follow all posted pool rules.

• Where: Biscayne Bay Recreation Center (13210 E. Windward Bay Dr.)
• The Vibes: We are turning up the energy in the pool with UV foam, black lights, a live DJ, and tons of glow sticks!

• Caricature Art

Important Event Details & Pool Rules
To ensure a safe, smooth, and glowing experience for everyone, please keep these guidelines in mind:
• Dress Code: For maximum glow, be sure to wear white or neon swimwear!
• Amenity Cards: Valid, active amenity cards are required for pool deck access. Each card allows entry for up to four participants. (Please note: Temporary pool cards will not be accepted).
• Capacity & Wristbands: Everyone will receive a wristband upon entry. For safety, the pool deck has a maximum occupancy of 250 people. If we hit capacity, new entries will be paused on a one-in, one-out basis.
• What to Leave at Home: Please leave personal furniture, canopies, coolers, and large floats at home. Infant floats are permitted.
• Safety First: Absolutely no glass is allowed on the pool deck.
• Adjusted Pool Hours: The Biscayne Bay pool will close at 6:00 PM and reopen at 7:00 PM specifically for the party.
