Kaizen Black, our Japanese-style black lager, returns to the taproom today.

While the kaizen principle is at the core of our approach to brewing, the ridiculously pretty label is inspired by kintsugi - a Japanese art form born of "mottainai" (the feeling of regret when something is wasted) and “mushin,” (the need to accept change). Kintsugi seams broken pieces together with precious metals, the scars resembling winding rivers and sweeping natural landscapes. The result is even more rare, beautiful, and storied than the original.

Kaizen Black is a black lager that gets its color from black malts. The result is just as crispy as Kaizen but with subtle delicious chocolatey notes. Try Kaizen and Kaizen Black back to back to get the full effect - close your eyes, and tell us what you notice.

Kaizen black is not only returning our taproom, but is also available for a limited time at your favorite bars and retailers.

Our favorite, Rose Hip Loggerbier is new in the taproom today! For this beer we take Loggerbier and "Dry Hip" it with organic rose hips. The result is a slightly tart, slightly sweet, slightly citrus version of Loggerbier that is oh so special.

BONESAW IS READYYYYYYY!

For those that know, come on down. For those that don't, Bonesaw is a super aggressive double black IPA hopped with loads of Simcoe, citra, and ekuanot hops (on top of super aggressive Chinook whirlpool additions). It wants to get you in the ring for 3 minutes of playtime, if you can handle it.

Medina Sod is a hazy pale ale hopped with Citra and Mandarina Bavaria for prominent citrus notes!

Just because we haven't been busy on here doesn't mean we haven't been busy. That being said, 2025 is a new year, and the new us is here to tell you what for.

GORLAMI - it means delicious in Italian. Our Italian Pils is dry hopped with Tettnang, Saaz, And Saphir for that perfect combo of floral, hop spice, and citrus. Pro-tip, getting a liter pour makes you a better dancer.

Not to be overlooked, and definitely not playing second fiddle, Cascade Classic is also making an appearance today. Hopped with tons of Cascade (and a little bit of Chinook because why not) this classic style west coast pale ale is our take on the GOAT.

Kick the tires and light the fires, or whatever it is you do, just make it over to our cozy warm taproom.

Hey Everyone - I wanted to take some time to update you all on our MFC release for 2024, and bring you a bit of sad news. We will not be releasing MFC this year. After tasting our barrels and blending as best we can, we decided that the release this year was not up to the standard that you have come to expect of us and of MFC. Though the flavors were great, it lacked the body and richness that we would like to see out of a barrel aged offering, and we felt that it wasnt right to label it as MFC.

While it is truly disappointing to have to bring you this news, we felt that it would be even more disappointing to pretend that there was nothing wrong with the beer, or that this iteration was our intent all along. We pride ourselves on offering the best possible product that we know how to make, and we felt that ignoring this issue was not only a disservice to you, but an affront to our core values of quality and honesty. Rest assured, MFC will continue to live on, and we intend to release the best version of it next year.

For now though, we want to try to make it up to you! Because we aren’t releasing MFC 2024, we decided to pull some vintage MFC and maybe a couple other special offerings from the cellar for a vertical tasting. Today we will have MFC 2018, MFC 2019, and MFC 2022 on tap, ready for you to indulge after (or during) your holiday shopping.

We have tons of spooky events all week this week!

Today, come ride with on their I Scream social ride. They roll out at 7:30 from Eado Bike Co and end at the taproom. We will also have here all night with pies a la mode to get your sweet tooth primed for Halloween

Tuesday will be here doing a candy and cheese pairing! They will also have a Boo-charcuterie board available

Wednesday at 7pm will be in the taproom teaching you everything you always wanted to know about picking locks

And Thursday at 7pm will be doing their annual costume. Come dressed to win prizes!

This is a contract position. Pay is $20/hr for the duration of each event plus mileage.

On October 19th we celebrate our 8th anniversary and our annual release of Burial in Space. As we do each year, from 11am to 2pm we will host our private VIP tasting!
