It is with a bittersweet feeling that we announce the closing of our beloved Houston taproom starting today. While we bid farewell to our cozy space, rest assured that Urban South beers will continue to be brewed out of the original New Orleans location and still be readily available across Houston through distribution channels. 🎉
To our incredible patrons: thank you for your unwavering support and for making our taproom a home away from home. Your enthusiasm has been the heart and soul of our journey, and we’re excited to continue sharing our brews with you in new and exciting ways.

Due to unfortunate circumstances Urban South HTX taproom has closed its doors.

However, City Orchard has graciously offered their location for the Spring Market, April 21st. City Orchard is in the same complex as Urban South, just a few doors down.

Join our team! 🤩 We have a couple of positions opening up here at the HTX taproom. Whether you’re looking to bartend part-time nights and weekends, or take on more back-of-house organization, we have something for you in a fun, clean, and friendly work environment.

🌙 Bartender - Part Time Nights/Weekends
Do you have a dedication and passion for craft beer and cocktails? Are you looking to earn a little extra income during busier hours? We’re looking for an experienced bartender who is interested in working part time nights and weekends at the taproom. Taproom Bartenders are responsible for creating a welcoming environment for Urban South customers by providing industry leading service. This is accomplished with a customer first attitude, being knowledgeable about craft beer and being passionate about Urban South and its products. The position will work directly with the Taproom Manager.

📋 Bartender - Production/Stock Coordinator
Do you love organization? Are you just itching to get in the cooler and restructure the stock? This person will be responsible for maintaining backstock and assisting with the production canning line, along with regular bartending duties. The position will work directly with the Taproom Manager and Production Manager.

Monday 4/8: Steak Night by Prison City BBQ from 6 - 9 pm and all-day happy hour! Enjoy $3 pints of core beer and 25% off select flights.

Tuesday 4/9: Chino Tacos is popping up for Fiesta Tuesdays where we're serving $3 pints of Sur Urbano and $5 margaritas.

Wednesday 4/10: Bring your team to Trivia Night at 6:30 pm and win big! The top three teams take home prizes. Lencas Street Food is popping up from 5 - 9 pm!
