🔥 Greek Roasted Veggies with Gus Greek Seasoning 🔥

One of the easiest ways to turn simple vegetables into something incredible is with the right seasoning. This recipe is one we make all the time at home — it’s healthy, simple, and packed with flavor.

Greek Roasted Vegetables

🥒 Ingredients:
• 1 zucchini, sliced
• 1 yellow squash, sliced
• 1 red onion, cut into chunks
• 1 red bell pepper, sliced
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1–2 tbsp Gus Greek Seasoning
• Optional: crumbled feta cheese

🥗 Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 425°F
2️⃣ Toss all vegetables with olive oil and Gus Greek Seasoning in a large bowl
3️⃣ Spread evenly on a baking sheet
4️⃣ Roast 20–25 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized
5️⃣ Sprinkle with feta cheese if you like and serve

These are perfect as a side dish or even piled into a pita with grilled chicken.

When you support a small business, you’re supporting real people — not a giant corporation with endless resources.

This week, Gus Greek Seasoning had 3 fraudulent orders come through for one small $6.99 bottle each. Thankfully, our order platform flagged them as fraud — the IP address was 5,409 miles away from the shipping address, and the billing address didn’t match.

We immediately canceled and refunded the orders.

But here’s the frustrating part…

Even though the seasoning was never shipped and the orders were refunded right away, the “customers” initiated chargebacks with their bank. That resulted in $196 in fees charged to our small business — for three bottles of seasoning that cost $6.99 each.

We followed the dispute process to try to recover the fees, but because we had already refunded the orders (like responsible merchants should), the bank also pulled fees. Reconciliation is a small percentage recovery and can take up to 75 days.

For a big company, this might not matter.
For a small business, it absolutely does.

It’s incredibly frustrating that:
• The platform allowed the orders to process
• They flagged clear fraud indicators (distance, mismatched billing)
• And yet there’s virtually no defense for the merchant

We share this not for sympathy — but for awareness. Small businesses face challenges customers never see behind the scenes.
