Update: The police have identified the individual, the purse has been returned, and law enforcement is taking it from here.
Returning the purse does not excuse what happened. However, we believe in praying even for those who have wronged us. We pray he learns from this, finds a better path, and makes better choices moving forward.

This man came into our store today and stole an employee purse. Thankfully she only had $5 in it but the bag itself was very expensive and she did have her ID and some cards. She has since locked those including her credit and reported these things missing so none of it is of any use to him now. Unfortunately she accidentally forgot about it and left it out where it was easy to grab and go and the moment she wasn’t looking he took off and didn’t notice it missing until we started to close up. So he was long gone. The sad part is before it all happened we even offered him complimentary items for being a first time customer. Pathetic.

We have the whole incident on camera with a clear view of his face as you can see. I mean the cameras are visible to customers and at one point we see him looking right at them and he still proceeded to do this… idiot.

Please be on alert and if you see this guy, he is not in your business establishment to do any good. Call the police they have this information along with his face.

And if your the thief reading this, it might be called southern comfort donuts but if you attempt to come back here we will introduce you to some southern discomfort…

We’ve increased our batches for tomorrow, but they’re still likely to fly. Come grab yours before they’re gone again, if you miss it don’t worry, we’ll be featuring them all fall long!
