Deano’s was one of my favorite places to grab pizza when we lived in Lafayette. While in Lafayette a month ago, we had to stop at Deano’s for dinner with mom.
Deano’s is a great place for families to dine. We were seated in back room where most families are seated.
There were a few parties going on in the back are. Louisiana culture is what I miss. Everyone is so nice.
The people hosting the party near us even gave us some cake. 😂😂 That’s one of things I miss about Louisiana just the friendliness of the people.
Here’s what we ate at Deano’s:
* Crawfish nachos
* Muffalatta Perfectione
* Cheeseburger salad Love this idea, plating needed help
* Dean-O’s lasagna
* Cajun executioner- my favorite 🔥
* Tee-Rex
Overall the food was really good. Just as good as we remembered before moving 8 years ago. The service was just ok. Not as good as it used to be. But the food was on point.

Next year I will be 50 years old. Wowzers! So hard to believe. The time has really flown by. In the last few months, I've started being more intentional about my health. I purchased a few items to add to our workout room. A few weeks ago I shared about my Hidrate Spark Water bottle.

Today, I am unboxing and sharing about my Oura Ring 5. I had been debating for a few months whether I wanted to purchase an Oura Ring. The new one came out in May. My husband got the Oura Ring 5 for me for my birthday.

Our family loves Sushi. 🍣
While we were on our Family Vacation with Royal Caribbean on Icon of the Seas, we completed a Sushi class.
My husband signed us up for a really cool Sushi class. The class was so fun, informative and a cool experience. I definitely recommend it. Be sure to sign up early because the class does fill up quickly. It’s a fun, family activity.

Happy Monday! I hope that everyone had a great weekend!
I switched up my basic Alfredo pasta by adding some spinach and sundried tomatoes. Another easy dish for busy weeknights.
I’ve never used the organics creamy Alfredo sauce by H-E-B

After getting our kids off on the first day of school, Hubby and I grabbed brunch/lunch at the Waffle Bus. We have one in the front of our neighborhood and we’ve been wanting to try it. We finally stopped in and it was yummy.
I had the chicken wings and waffles. Hubby had the fryers. Fryers are basically waffle fries cheeseburgers inside. Cute idea.

Our daughter plans to study sports medicine in college. In high school she’s had the opportunity to be an athletic trainer for high school football. As a trainer they spend a significant amount of time on their feet. Her go to sneakers for game days are HOKA. Hoka’s are also great for running when she’s training for basketball. A multifaceted sneaker.

It’s officially football season! Yessss! It’s here. Sliders with fries is one of my favorite game day eats. I decided to switch it up with a healthier version of my game day favorite. These Steelhead trout sliders were so good! My son said oh mama these are goooodddd!
H-E-B is my go to for all my Seafood needs. I picked up this beautiful Steelhead trout fillet for my sliders. Steelhead Trout is a type of Rainbow Trout. Everything I needed for my sliders were at HEB.

Senior year is off and poppin! Hard to believe we are here! But we are excited for this NEW Year! Saw this cute idea and made my own version.
