One of the things I look for when purchasing new cooking appliances is the versatility of the appliance. Ninja has some of the most versatile products on the market. Products that are multifunctional like this Ninja 10-in-1 Foodi Possible 8.5 Qt Multi-Cooker. This multi cooker can braise, slow cook, steam, sear and bake. Yeah that’s right bake
Too! It does it all. I recently was on a sabbatical for medical reasons and hadn’t cooked in over 2 weeks. I eased my way back into cooking with this simple slow cooked lamb shank pasta. Man it was so good! Simple and easy one pot meal. This cooker allowed me to do it all in one pot.

Father’s Day for us usually means church and lunch with my hubby and kids. This year was no different. A powerful service at church then lunch at Whiskey cake. Whiskey cake has become one of our favorite go to places for Father’s Day. We love the vibe and the food is delicious. Service is always top notch.
Here’s what we tried this time:
* hot honey ribs - superb
* BLT deviled eggs
* Goat cheese fondue
* Kids mac and cheese plate
* Prime rib sandwich
* Fish and chips with a Caesar salad
* Ruby slipper mocktail
* Hulk mocktail
The food was delicious. The service was the best we’ve had at Whiskey cake! She did a phenomenal job.

I Picked up this delicious Chocolate Strawberry Cold Pie from HEB for my guy. This cake is definitely a 10/10. The bakery is killing it with their pie creations. Really good.

Our Fish fry Friday just received an upgrade. Recently we tried something different, our delicious shrimp and catfish fried rice. Yes you heard right. Crispy catfish nuggets in the fried rice with grilled shrimp. Then topped with a crispy piece of fried catfish and crispy shrimp. Finished with remoulade sauce and parsley. Oh man. My mouth is still watering with this one. 😋😋

I love a good sweet treat on the weekends. Nothing Bundt Cake has been dropping some delicious flavors from the Strawbery cheesecake and now the peach cobbler. That peach cobbler is a 100/10! Absolutely delicious! But I will say that the consistency of the Bundt cakes on the peach cobbler is different. The first time we had the new flavor it was perfect. The peaches were big, the peach cobbler filling was prevalent. The second time peaches were really small and there was no peach cobbler filling. It was still good but consistency matter. The peach cobbler is definitely one of my favorite flavors that they dropped though. A great summer flavor
Nothing Bundt Cakes

Today’s sneaker unboxing is of The Kobe 3 Low Protro 'Mambacita' honours Gianna "Gigi" Bryant and her lasting impact on women's sports.
Typically all basketball shoes I purchase are for my kids. But these I kept for myself.
The style and feel of these are really really nice and super comfortable. I love the two tone look of these. Every-time I wear these someone will stop me to ask about these sneakers.

We were in Austin on a college tour with our teenager. We arrived early in town so we decided to go to to the mall. My teenager had heard of this store called “Pokemaniacs” so we stopped in.
She’s sharing her take below on the store and video creation is done by her too. She’s my assistant for the summer.
If you’re a Pokemon fan and are looking for a place to get merch, try Pokemaniacs. As a long time Pokemon fan, this was the perfect spot to stop at and look at the plushies and cards that Pokemon collectors would go crazy for. Located in a mall in Austin, Texas, it’s easy to miss but worth exploring. Adults and children alike find themselves brimming with curiosity and excitement as they enter the store. I loved seeing all the unique plushies, cards and toys that any age can enjoy. I purchased a Bulbasaur and a Dragonair plushies to add to my collection, while my brother bought a Zubat Lego Set to add to his collection. It was a fun place to stop by and explore before a college tour. To all Pokemon fans, I would 100% recommend stopping by to finish collections and finish the goal of catching them all.
