Finally I was able to get some good pictures of the gremlins!
Savvy's black and white doling is a FIESTY thing, just like she was as a baby! She looks an awful lot like her grand sire, Kyeema Ridge Duke. I suspect she will fold out and look great.
Levee's babies got disbudded today and I'm happy with the big copper coins I got on both. I think the doling will for sure heal up nice, the bucklings are always a crap shoot, even experianced disbudders can accidentally leave horn root and cause scurs to grow in but fingers crossed! Her doling is moonspotted as all get out and the buckling is also moonspotted but harder to see! I was wrong on eye color however, they have brown eyes! ❤️ They're adorable with their little dangly wattles!
We are still waiting on Ghosty, she was due Wednesday and now I suspect she must have short cycled and was bred back on the short cycle. Now we are in baby watch mode til possibly even the end of March. Very rude.😒 🤣 VERY first freshener of her! With her we could have all the things as well. She has moonspots and is polled. So we will see what the gene gods give us. 🤣 Mostly we want HEALTHY twins and healthy momma! I wouldn't complain if she blessed me with at least the polled gene because I hate disbudding!
Savvy's babies are always unregistered but her lines include big Dairy names like Rez Ridge, White Lotus, and Kyeema ridge. Very nice dairy lines, working goats.
Levee's have the ability to be ADGA and AGS registered and depending on the height they mature to, you could have a great show goat or dairy goat or herd sire! She EASILY has the moalst proven on paper goats in her lines with LA scores, milk stars ext.
Ghost's also have the ability to be AGS registered. Ghost's sire is Agapes Prize Hard Pressed, a really incredible sire. So I'm very excited to see what her little first freshener udder looks like and what little jumping beans she gives us!
Jack the sire to all these babies is out of a Dragonfly doe, by a Hidden Lakes buck! Both impressive well known names in the dairy goat community! And his temperment, like both his parents, is A++. He is handleable and a very good boy even in rut. Minds his manners and is a very polite buck. He gets to have his girls most the year and is safe to wean bucklings and whethers with as he is just so chill! All these babies seems to be naturally drawn to people!
