It is a very sh*tty St. Patricks day for the bees! they needed to come out of the shed. the weather seems to be somewhat constant for the next 10 days. cool but not cold. today is warm and they are taking full advantage of cleaning their bowels! trust me on that. from what i see, winter mortality does not seem to have been that bad. After they have oriented themselfs i shall go through the hives and feed.

I havnt posted anything in a while. This winter i am storing all my hives indoors in a climate controlled building. It is permanently dark and maintained at 40 degrees. This was necessary due to a surgery that i desperately needed. Thus far, both the bees and I are doing well. let us hope and pray that both the bees and i continue well.
