This calf has got the look to him to be excited about, only being 10 days old! He's an embryo calf out of the ELG Lass 3200 cow that we bought 5 years ago, and he is sired by LT Clarion. His other current brother is very similar. Now to wait on the rest of them. Hopefully, there's a heifer calf! 🤞🏼

"At a market price of $4.50 per pound on five-weight steers with a 22.7 pound weaning weight advantage, the Gelbvieh influence would equate to an additional $102.15 revenue per head. On a group of 100 steers, Gelbvieh-influenced females would generate $10,215 in additional calf crop revenue. Gelbvieh-influenced cowherds generate more pay weight, which is more profit for the producer. Gelbvieh genetics grow more than just weaning weights; they grow your profitability."

Today I was able to buy a really nice bred heifer from the North Dakota Golden Rules Sale. She was consigned by Larson’s Lost River Livestock! I'm excited to see what her future holds, along with the heifer calf she is carrying out of Bold Ruler.

I took a quick video of a few bulls. I will have available this year. I have to ET bulls once sided by Koupal’s Pathfinder and Coleman glacier they’re half brothers 100% Angus. I also have two Thedford sons also 100% Angus and one All American son balancer. Bulls are available to view anytime. Should have DNA results back soon and hopefully have individual videos of bulls as well. Thanks for looking! Noonan Cattle

If you're in the market for some home-raised steers and heifers, we are selling on Monday, January 19th, at Sioux Falls Regional. Steers will range from 675-800 and heifers 600-700. They have been weaned since October 6 and have been fed a high-roughage diet since then. They were given Inforce at birth, Bovishield Gold 5 one shot, and Vision 7 20/20 at turnout to grass. In September, they received Bovishield Gold 5 one shot, Ultrabac 7/Somubac, Valcar injectable, pinkeye solidose, Delice, and Vision CD/T; steers were banded and given Synovex One Grower. All were poured on January 5th. Over 10 years of AI'ing behind these calves, along with several of these calves being AI sired the rest are Black Angus and Balancer. If you have any questions, feel free to message me. Thanks for looking. Noonan Cattle

This video is of one of the bulls available for the upcoming breeding season. I bought embryos from Brookdale Angus, and he's from one of them. He's a son of Coleman Glacier, and I also have a half-brother sired by Koupals Pathfinder. Both bulls reached over 1,000 pounds at 9 1/2 months old! Glacier-1005 and Pathfinder-1035. I'm looking forward to seeing them grow and will post more photos.

Over the past couple of weeks, while checking cows and moving bulls around, I got a couple of photos. The first two photos are of BABR 0041K, a bull we bought for our herd who is really turning out nice! He’s long and thick. The second bull is Lawton L380, a bull we raised. He is 75% Gelbvieh, thick, and well put together. His dam doesn’t disappoint, as we have two half-brothers and collected embryos from her. The fourth photo is from my favorite cow, 1229 Progress, a 100% Angus with her Rise Above heifer calf. She is super wide and deep-bodied. The fifth is a nice 100% Angus bull calf and his mom. The last is of an embryo I bought sired by Coleman Glacier. Thanks for looking!
