As I posted the other day on 2 little ones that Noctra/Nora ( 1st time mom ) decided she wasnt feeding her kids anymore....

As I posted the other day on 2 little ones that Noctra/Nora ( 1st time mom ) decided she wasnt feeding her kids anymore. 🙄. Well like always I have another mom with same age of kits on her. Rabbits are such good foster moms. 1 kit was a blk otter, while the other mom also had a blk otter kit. So currently they are 2 different sizes. How am.I gonna keep them seperate, I even used a black marker inside each ear of the 1 kit , by that night it had vanished. Last night at midnight,my brain could not shut down, I thought of an idea, as this is how I mark my Quail roos. Just gotta watch carefully as bunnies do grow. I took pics of each blk otter kit so I wouldnt forget the markings to each kit. Only 1 leg is marked for identification.
You think it will work ? Hopefully mom doesnt discover it n decide to chew on it.

Maribel n her kiddos. Cant wait to see them grow up. Ive been waitinh for some nice chocolate.

Did my routine check on babies this afternoon & discovered 1 was slowly failing, checked mom out & discovered she didnt seem to be nursing babies anymore. Only 1 wk old today.
So I removed Noctra 2 babies from her n fostered with Maribel & her bunch. Watch this cute,but hungry video. The other baby seemed to be okay.

Well no rabbit show for us today. We decided we all needed a break.( 5 wks in a row ). I promised the rabbits last wknd ...

Well no rabbit show for us today. We decided we all needed a break.( 5 wks in a row ). I promised the rabbits last wknd we would take a break. Of course I fed everyone earlier n discovered a lot are having bad hair issues. Warm weather has it, 3 barn industrial fans are on full blast.
Free Indiana fishing wknd, I took the advantage of it.
While we took a break n had nothing else to do after the good rain storm came through n gave us at least 1 inch of rain. Hubby & I had our 1st outing of fishing. It was a 1/2 day of fishing from 2 pm - 5:15 pm. 27 gills we brought home. Caught & released several more including 3 - 12 inch largemouth bass. Course I had to get my 1st catch which was a nice blue gill.
The winners BOB & BOSB. 🤣🤣🤣

If u thought pressure washing rabbit cages & pans was a clean job, think again. I think its the dirtest & 💩 job ! Almost 1/2 way. Gotta get roll of wire to replace a few floors. They have vinyl coated flooring & while its nice to have, if u have rabbits that dont chew . Floor is only 1 yr old n it looks terrible & rough.
Its àll in a days work & part of Rabbitry maintenance..
