A huge victory for Victory Road!! The vote was unanimous...NO!! Thank you to Betty Lou Velez-Gimbel for Council for leading us through this warehouse fight where, at times, there seemed to be no end in sight. To the residents of Victory Road, you are rockstars!! And to everyone who has donated, fundraised, or even shared a post to spread the word, we appreciate you. When a community comes together powerful things can happen. Now let us get Betty to Council. Hello Howell!
I’m Betty Velez-Gimbel, and I’m excited to announce my candidacy for Howell Township Council as an Independent.

I’m the proud owner of Squankum Brook Farm and a dedicated educator and school counselor with 27 years of experience.

On a scenic drive as a child, with my parents, I fell in love with Howell. I was determined to own a farm in Howell. And now for nearly 20 years, I am proud to call Howell my home.

My deep connection to Howell, combined with my passion for preserving our town’s rural charm and ensuring sustainable growth, drives my campaign. 🐝

I will work diligently to ensure the following:

✓ Smart Economic Growth: Promote common-sense development, reduce unnecessary regulations that burden homeowners, local businesses, and farms. Champion Howell as a destination for families to enjoy our local businesses and agricultural events.
