I feel like Lisianthus is one of those flowers that quietly waits in the corner while everyone else gets the attention.
Look at her! Those ruffled petals make her look like a tiny rose crossed with a peony, and she can last 10–14 days in a vase, to boot!
She may look delicate, but she’s actually quite the little overachiever. Patience is KEY. Lisianthus can take around 5–7 months from seed to bloom. She makes you wait for her, but honestly… she’s totally worth it.
I think she deserves to be noticed.
I'll have them in bouquets this Sunday at the Schoharie County Farmers Market.
