The Country Kids have been hard at work this year. This might surprise you, but we have been watering our fields A LOT! We have had less than one inch of rain in about the last 8 weeks.
Our mums looks gorgeous (because we can control their water) and the pumpkins have come a long way in the past few weeks. The corn crop is on schedule for a great maze again. But our family has definitely had easier years. My husband says, “If this was easy, everyone would do it.” Hopefully we will get the rain this weekend that we need. Until then, we continue to pray and water the plants ourselves. It might be hard work, but that is what builds strong minds and willpower!
