People are always asking me, “What do you use to cut all your stuff?”

And they’re usually a little shocked when they see the SIZE of my laser. 😂

Welllll… today this big ol’ machine is trying something new.

✨ EARRINGS! ✨

Yep. The same laser I use to cut my interchangeable home decor is over here cutting the tiniest little pieces today. 😂

I’ve had some super fun earring files sitting around, so I finally decided it was time to play!

And you already know me… once I start trying something new, there’s a very good chance I’m about to make WAY too many of them. 🤣🙈

Tiny earrings + giant laser = seems completely reasonable to me. 😂

Stay tuned… I can already tell these are going to be FUN! ❤️

Hi! I’m Kimmi, owner, designer, and maker behind Silver & Grain.

I’m a little bit crafty, a little bit goofy, and happiest by the water, in my workshop, or curled up in my camper with a good book after the sun goes down. I love camping, kayaking, beach vacations, decorating for every season, and finding joy in life’s simple moments.

These days, my workshop overlooks our backyard instead of a garage and driveway—and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of that view. It’s a daily reminder that sometimes the biggest adventures begin with a leap of faith.

What started as a love for creating has grown into a business I’m incredibly grateful for. Every piece I design is thoughtfully handcrafted with the hope that it becomes part of your family’s story. 🚨 Name Crisis! 🚨

Well… we thought we had his name picked out. 🤦‍♀️🐶

Turns out it’s just not sticking! We’ve called him about five different things today, and he happily answers to… absolutely none of them. 😂

So for now, he’s just “the puppy.” 🩵

🐽 SNEAK PEEK! 🐷

The piggies have arrived at Silver & Grain and I am absolutely in love with them! 😍 They still need paint, but I couldn’t wait to share a little sneak peek with you.

After the big move and a few frustrating laser issues, I finally have a laser back up and running! 🎉

If you’ve been patiently waiting on an order, thank you so much for hanging in there with me. I’m officially back to working through orders and getting caught up.

I truly appreciate everyone’s patience, support, and understanding during all the chaos of moving. It means more than you know. ❤️
