Grey Haven Farms Welcome to Grey Haven Farms! We raise quality ADGA Dairy Goats for show and milk

We ultrasounded 16 goats today and 11 were pregnant! All 11 were are due within just over a week of each other 😬 That was done by design as we are hoping it makes milk testing and bottle raising easier and just overall keeps kidding season more succinct. We will see if we like it! 2 of our Nubians are being bred today and tmrw. The remaining 5 does got CIDRs placed and will be bred in a couple weeks!

Sadly our 2 AIs were not successful, but we have an exciting back up planned for them! 😜

When you have been at the show all day and your just too tired to walk back to the trailer lol Little Love not only couldn’t walk back to the trailer at the end of the day but she ALSO laid down TWICE in the ring. I guess we will be practicing this winter lol she was pretty pleased with herself though 🤣

We had a great time show for our first time at the KY State Fair! We are exhausted but everyone is home and doing good. We plan to bring even more goats next year. For now, we are looking ahead to breeding and the Capital City Caprine Classic on September 5th!

Junior show today! Did we win any ribbons? No. Did we have a great time? Yes! I LOVED having the twins there and getting to share this with them. There was some very tough competition there and it was great to show our goats with some of the best in the Country.
