We had a great time show for our first time at the KY State Fair! We are exhausted but everyone is home and doing good. We plan to bring even more goats next year. For now, we are looking ahead to breeding and the Capital City Caprine Classic on September 5th!

Junior show today! Did we win any ribbons? No. Did we have a great time? Yes! I LOVED having the twins there and getting to share this with them. There was some very tough competition there and it was great to show our goats with some of the best in the Country.

We are all set up at the KY State Fair! After a long 2 month break from showing (between vacation and just not having shows around us) it’s great to be back in the swing of things again! This is our first time showing at the State Fair so we are really excited. This is something that I am hoping becomes a tradition that Eli and Joanne look forward to every year 🤞🥰

We’re all registered for the KY State fair in 6 weeks! This will be our fist time doing the State Fair (or any fair), I would love to hear from any goat friends who have gone before!

In the meantime the girls are enjoying this break from showing I think. And we are working on breeding plans 🫣

Congrats to all our goat friends who attended Nationals this week! Just going and surviving the week is a huge accomplishment! Congrats to 3G Family Farm - Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats and Agape’s Prize Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats for their National and Reserve National Champion wins! And congrats to our friends at Cade's Lil Farm , The Tucker Farm - Moon Station Nigerian Dwarf Goats and ICE Acres Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats for their “Nigerian Breeders Turned Standard Breeders” wins with the Saanen Junior National Champion, Toggenburg Reserve Junior National Champion and Saanen Reserve National Champion! And of course congrats to Ozark’s Gold Farm on their Spotlight sale purchase of a spectacular buckling!! So so so many more wonderful people and farms had great success and we are proud and happy for all of them! Wishing you all safe travels home!
