It’s high corn season.

We are doing our best to keep up with your demand—corn is planted on every square inch of our available farm land (and that’s not enough so we rent land to grow on too!).

Corn is a “one and done” crop. That means every corn stalk produces 2 ears of corn (but the bottom one is what we call “junk” so it stays for the birds) — we pick the fat, juicy, top ear on each stalk and then plow the picked section back into the earth.

Now picking Ginger Gold apples.

This variety might be the most underrated and overlooked. It is crisper and sweeter than many other early varieties with a slightly tart finish. Ginger golds hold up well in pies, make a smooth applesauce and are ideal for cut fruit platters or salad because they stay white after cutting.

All around a fantastic apple 🍏

Garfield is the peach king. He knows every variety, where it’s located in the orchard, and when it’s ready for picking.

Since mid July, Garfield and the field crew have been out picking peaches almost every day to keep the farm stand loaded up.

Just a couple varieties left to pick. Come on down🍑
