Five years ago, I took a leap of faith and built Hudson Sandwich Shop from the ground up. What started as a dream became so much more than I could have ever imagined. It became a place filled with incredible customers, unforgettable conversations, lifelong friendships, and a community that supported us every single day.

I poured my heart and soul into this business. There were long days, sleepless nights, countless challenges, and so many rewarding moments. Every sandwich served, every catering event, and every smile from a customer reminded me why I started this journey in the first place.

As difficult as this decision has been, I’ve realized that it’s time for a new chapter. It’s time to slow down, spend more time with my family, and enjoy the moments that I’ve sacrificed so much to build this dream.

With that, I am excited to announce that, effective August 1st, Hudson Sandwich Shop will have new owners. I couldn’t be happier to pass the torch to the team at Mama Jeans. You’ve probably seen them in the kitchen for the last three weeks. Jessica and Julio have the knowledge, the passion and the youth to take the shop to greater heights. This wasn’t a decision I took lightly. I truly believe they have the passion, vision, and dedication to take Hudson Sandwich Shop to places I only dreamed possible. I know you’ll welcome them with the same kindness and support you’ve always shown me.

I won’t be disappearing just yet. I’ll be staying on for as long as they need me to help make the transition as smooth as possible.

Tomorrow, Friday, will be my final day as the owner of Hudson Sandwich Shop. It’s a bittersweet moment. While it’s hard to say goodbye to something that has meant so much to me, I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every customer who walked through our doors, every person who recommended us to a friend, every employee who worked beside me, and everyone who believed in this little sandwich shop. You made this dream worth every minute.

This isn’t goodbye. It’s simply the beginning of a new chapter, both for me and for Hudson Sandwich Shop.
