A few Years back we had taken a short trip to Chicago to visit our daughter who was in the convent. We stayed in a wonderful hotel and really wanted to try the authentic “Chicago style pizza” that everyone raved about. So we rang up Giordano’s and they delivered a very expensive strange looking pie. We devoured it! Fast forward to July 2026 and I see that Mall of America now has a Giordano’s up on the 3rd floor. Well, yes we do go to MOA every week early in the morning to walk and the only things open are the coffee shops. So today I dove right in and made my own. It smells so good and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. Tomorrow is Friday…. Enjoy your weekend

This week was all about baking for fun! My grandkids love helping in the kitchen whenever they visit, and we always make the sweetest memories together.

For our 4th of July bakes, we made colorful sugar cookies and delicious loaves of banana bread. There may have been a little extra flour on the counter and plenty of sprinkles everywhere, but that's all part of the fun!

☘️ A Sweet Send Off for an Amazing School Year! 🍀
Mama Deschamp’s Cupcakes had the honor of creating these artsy shamrock cookies for the wonderful 5th graders and staff at St. Patrick’s Catholic School as they celebrate the end of another successful school year.
Each cookie was handcrafted with love, a little creativity, and plenty of Irish charm! 💚 From classroom memories to friendships made, these sweet treats are a small way to celebrate all the hard work, growth, and accomplishments of the students and the dedication of the incredible staff.
Wishing everyone at St. Patrick's Catholic School a joyful summer filled with fun, laughter, and lots of sweet memories!

If you are a creator of , you must try making an apple pie loaf. It is the best of toast you will ever have. Make sure you add the cinnamon & sugar to the chopped Granny Smith apple a few hours ahead of mixing in your inclusion, that way the liquid it creates has time to drain out as it sits in a strainer. Before adding mix in a tsp of flour to the apples. You will thank me for this one
